Mid-level Java Developer

AIM Consulting is hiring a Mid-level Java Developer to work on a long-term engagement with a major retail client. You'll be building robust backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot, designed as event-driven microservices deployed on AWS (ECS and Lambda). Responsibilities include designing REST endpoints, optimizing database interactions with JPA/Hibernate, and implementing resilient messaging patterns with SQS/SNS. You'll collaborate within a Scrum team, participate in backlog refinement, and ensure high code quality through unit and integration testing. We are looking for a solid engineer with 4+ years of backend Java experience who enjoys solving complex distributed systems problems. Excellent English communication is necessary to articulate technical solutions in a remote, cross-functional team setting.
