Mid-level Java Developer (Logistics)

Zeelo is the smart bus platform for organizations, providing turnkey transportation programs for schools and companies. We are seeking a Mid-level Java Developer to work on our routing and scheduling algorithms. You'll build and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot, working with spatial data and PostGIS extensions to optimize route efficiency. You'll also integrate with third-party mapping and vehicle tracking APIs. We practice continuous delivery and deploy to AWS using Kubernetes. The ideal candidate enjoys solving logical, algorithmic problems and writing clean, maintainable code. We require overlap with Eastern Time for daily standups and English proficiency for cross-team collaboration.
