Mid-level Java Developer (EdTech)

Top Hat is a dynamic courseware platform that empowers educators and engages students. We are looking for a Mid-level Java Developer to build scalable backend services for our interactive textbook and assessment platform. You'll develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot, deployed to AWS. You'll implement new features, improve service reliability, and participate in an on-call rotation (with support). You need strong Java fundamentals and experience with relational databases. We work in an agile environment with remote teams, requiring solid English communication for standups, retros, and technical design reviews.
