Problem solving is what motivates me! I enjoy working across teams to identify improvements and resolve crossed wires that undermine common goals. Nurturing talent and helping team members identify strengths is how I foster healthy and effective working dynamics; happier teams produce higher quality work and innovative results. I am a first-generation college graduate and the child of refugees. I fumbled plenty through my academic and professional journey, which is why I mentor students and young professionals to support them in avoiding my missteps. Paying it forward is one of my lifelong mantras. Onto the professional spiel: I am an experienced leader with expertise in operational efficiency and strategic financial planning leveraging budget and policy. I have demonstrated leadership in budgeting, policy formulation, and multi-department coordination with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. My achievements were made possible by influencing other executives as well as crafting and explaining technical solutions to non-technical staff. Some of the key characteristics that make me a highly skilled leader are my conviction and business intuition coupled with my ability to work across teams.
